Here is the most effective easy, reliable & cheap solution-

Heat up a sufficient amount of water, add washing soda or vinegar with it; immerse the non-stick pan & pots into this warm lite soapy/ citrus water (temperature 50 degree Celsius). left it, nearly for 30 minutes. However, if the still contain grease element, then use liquid soap gel; take any soft nylon scrubber, gently rub these kitchenwares. It will perfectly clean the burnt non-stick pan & pots, and also make it grease off.

Consequently, this method is absolutely applicable to remove all types of burnt-on milk, sugar, and other types of foods.

I hope all of you are well familiar with Teflon non-stick coating; but, my friend this is not only the nonstick coating applied on the cookwares. There are 4 other different verities of nonstick coated skillets available on the market; these are hard anodized, ceramic, enamelled, stone or granite coated nonstick pans.

The burnt pan cleaning method, which I have just described, is applicable for all of these 4 different types of non-stick pans. However, you can also clean these non-sticky pans in many different ways, in the latter part of this content I will discuss with you in a brief way.

I have more than 15 years kitchen management experience; and I can make a commitment that “if you know how to treat the nonstick cookware set properly; and know what to cook, what meal preparation needs to avoid on it”; probably you will never need search on Google “how do I clean my burnt nonstick pans or pots”.

8 Different Way You Can Clean Burnt Non-Stick Pans & Pots:

1. Worm Water With Washing Soda And Liquid Soap:

The sodium carbonate or washing soda is completely different from the baking soda. It’s widely known as laundry detergent. This compound is very effective; it’s not only clean out not the cloths but, also perfectly remove the sticky burnt foods from the non-stick pans.

–Required ingredients:

Washing soda, soap, liquid soap, Nylon scrubber.

–Instruction Process:

Take a container, which has enough space that the nonstick pan or pot will be perfectly fit under this container. Place the non-stick pan or pot into this bucket, and fill it with hot water. Must check that the pan or pot is completely submerged under this hot water.

Now mixed 1 or 2 tablespoons of washing with the hot water; keep it as it is for 30 to 45 minutes.

Finally, pull out the skillet from the container & clean it with normal water & sponge pad. It will totally take out the burnt-on foods, that stick with the pan base. Lastly use a few drops of gel soap & softly rub with a nylon scrubber.

wash it and see now the pan is fully comes in its previous recondition state.

Warning!!! don’t use boiled water here. Because boiled water with washing soda may hurt the Teflon coating. But, other types of nonstick skillet you can use it too.

2. Lemon Juice & Hot Water:

The lemon is acidic, by its nature; which contains citric acid. This fruit is also well familiar as a natural home cleaner. It’s an alternative of vinegar; breakdown the grease or fats & create fatty acids.

–Required ingredients:

Half (1/2) cup lemon juice, boiled water, regular dish soap

— Instruction Process:

Actually, this cleaning procedure is a quiet bit similar with vinegar; but it’s slightly different.

Fill the skillet with boiled water; or you can directly boil the water, into this burnt pan. Add two tablespoon to half cup lemon juice (based on nonstick pan diameter size) into it. Left it for 25 to 35 minutes.

Now you will see two things the oily grease components are floating on the top; & few fats are breakdown to fatty acids. The burn foods already loosen their grip from the nonstick surface; use any wooden or silicon spatula, gently rub on the nonstick pan base.

Use any regular water & just wash it; lastly scrub the whole pan inside, outside, handle with regular dish soap & soft scrubber; and wash it again with clean water.

If your pan is burnt from the outside & exterior wall/ base contain very old stick grease; then this technique might not help you. Check the vinegar water soak method or ACV method. it is another most effective solution for these types of problem.

You might think to clean a nonstick pan with apple cider vinegar (ACV), cost you extra money. But my friends it’s not. You just need 1/3 to 1/2 cup of ACV to clean inside- outside sticky burned food & oil elements. The ACV contain acetic acid, it perfectly dissolves the grease elements & cooking dirt. The other positive side it has, it can kill many types of bacteria (source).

–Required ingredients:

Approximately 1/2  cup apple cider vinegar.

2 to 3 pieces of paper towel or thin cotton cloth (take enough big cloth that can fully wrap the nonstick pan); I will use here biodegradable grocery bags  (Please check the picture).

— Instruction Process:

If you are using the paper towel then completely wrap nonstick pan except handles. Slowly effuse the ACV on the pan inside, as well as an outside area. Make sure each & every portion of the paper towel must be eventually wetted.

I always use either biodegradable grocery bag or thin cotton cloth; So first immerse the cloth into the apple cider vinegar & fully wrap the nonstick skillet. Keep it as it is for 3 to 4 hour, I generally prefer it for overnight.

Now you can wash the pan; moreover, use nylon scrubber & few drops gel soap for better cleaning.

The Sea salt method is very effective to pull out burned foods from the nonstick pan. But, at the same time, it has some limitation. If the sticky grease exists on the skillet wall; especially at the outside, then sea salt might not help you very effectively.

But, if the interior portion of the pan only contains burned food & oil element; then sea salt might be proven as an effective solution for you.

–Required ingredients:

I table spoon of salt, hot water.

— Instruction Process:

Immerse the pan under the hot water or you can fill the skillet base with hot water. Keep it for 10 minutes; use any silicon or wooden spatula gently scrub on the pan base.

Now flash out the hot water sprinkle a tablespoon of salt on the pan base. Must check each & every portion, which contain sticky cooking dirt, must come contact with the salt. Place it as its nearly 2 to 2.5 hour.

Now wipe the pan with fresh water.

5. White Vinegar Soak Method:

White vinegar also contains acetic acid. If you are tried to wipe out old stubborn grease element & burnt food residues from your nonstick pan surface & bottom area; then this is the best technique for you.

The vinegar is widely used as a natural home cleaner. 100% vinegar may hurt the Teflon coating; that’s why we will use its diluted forms.

–Required ingredients:

Two cup of vinegar, big container, nylon scrubber & 1 liter hot water (not boiled, approximate temperature 50C to 60C).

— Instruction Process:

Take the hot water, mixed the vinegar pour it in a container. The container size must be bigger than the pan diameter. Submerge the nonstick skillet under the hot citrus mixture. Now leave it for overnight.

After 4 to 6 hour pull out the pan from the container & rub it with a nylon scrubber. It will perfectly wipe out the sticky grease & burned cooking residues. To get maximum effect use liquid soap & fully scrub the pan once again with a nylon scrubber.

Alternative method!!

You can try the ACV method the replace the apple cider vinegar with normal white vinegar.
